By accessing or using PageGuard.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PageGuard.ai provides automated technology scanning for websites and mobile applications, compliance reporting, and AI-generated legal documents including privacy policies, terms of service, cookie policies, and app store privacy guides.
3. Not Legal Advice
PageGuard.ai is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Documents generated by our service are created by AI based on automated scanning results. They are intended as a starting point and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before use. We assume no liability for the legal sufficiency of generated documents.
4. Free and Paid Services
Our compliance scan and report are provided free of charge. Document generation requires a one-time payment of $29 or use of a pre-purchased credit from a bulk pack. Bulk packs are available at $79 (5-pack), $149 (15-pack), and $349 (50-pack). All prices are in USD.
5. Money-Back Guarantee
If your mobile application is rejected by Apple App Store or Google Play Store specifically for privacy policy reasons after using PageGuard-generated documents, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. To claim a refund, email us the rejection notice at support@pageguard.ai. This guarantee does not cover rejections for reasons unrelated to privacy policies.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your payment card details.
7. Credits
Bulk pack credits are tied to the email address used at purchase. Credits do not expire. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except as described in the money-back guarantee.
8. GitHub Access
If you connect your GitHub account, you grant us temporary, read-only access to your repository dependency files. We do not access your source code. Access tokens are automatically deleted after 10 minutes.
9. Intellectual Property
Documents generated for you are yours to use. You may copy, modify, and publish them on your website or application. The PageGuard.ai brand, logo, and website content remain our intellectual property.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Use the Service to generate documents for illegal purposes
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service
- Resell generated documents as a competing service
- Submit malicious URLs or content
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PageGuard.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that generated documents will meet all legal requirements in all jurisdictions.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. Purchased credits remain valid unless terminated for abuse.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
